The terms that apply to your use of HomoDentHealth.

By creating an account or using HomoDentHealth ("the platform"), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. What HomoDentHealth Is — and Isn't

HomoDentHealth is a triage and referral tool. It helps you understand the possible urgency of a dental symptom and connects you with dental clinics for an in-person evaluation. It is not a licensed dental or medical provider, does not diagnose conditions, and does not prescribe treatment or medication. The Symptom Assessment results are general guidance only and should never be treated as a substitute for evaluation by a licensed dentist.

2. Emergencies

If you are experiencing a medical or dental emergency — including difficulty breathing, uncontrolled bleeding, or severe facial swelling — do not rely on this platform. Call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.

3. Your Account

  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep your password confidential.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
  • New accounts must be verified via the one-time code sent to your email before you can log in.
  • You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings.

4. Booking Appointments

Appointments booked through the platform are requests sent to the selected clinic; clinics may contact you to confirm, reschedule, or decline a booking based on availability. HomoDentHealth is not responsible for a clinic's quality of care, pricing, or cancellation policies — these are governed by the clinic directly. Please arrive on time and cancel in advance if you can no longer make an appointment, so the slot can be offered to someone else.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Provide false information when registering, booking, or chatting with support/clinic staff
  • Use the platform to harass, abuse, or impersonate others
  • Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization
  • Probe, scan, or attempt to bypass the platform's security measures
  • Use automated tools to scrape or overload the service

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Dentists, Clinics & Staff Accounts

Dentist, clinic-manager, and admin accounts are provisioned for verified healthcare staff and platform operators. These roles carry additional responsibilities to handle patient information accurately and confidentially, consistent with our Privacy Policy and applicable professional and legal obligations.

7. Limitation of Liability

HomoDentHealth is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any decision made based on a Symptom Assessment result, for the actions of clinics or dentists found through the platform, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update these terms or modify the platform's features over time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
